How it works
Every so often, an organization is hit with a sudden crisis. It’s usually highly sensitive, high-stress and high-stakes. It can also be messy. Evidence may be missing or conflicting; organizational or individual reputations may be at stake; and there may be serious legal implications. The organization needs a clear picture of what happened so it can respond appropriately.
I’m brought in as an impartial third party to conduct an independent investigation. Usually, there’s no time or budget to waste — organizations need an answer two weeks ago, not six months from now. I cut to the heart of the matter quickly and efficiently: What actually happened? And what do we do now?
By quickly establishing trust and rapport, collecting and reviewing the evidence, and reporting back, I can guide organizations, step by step, from the receipt of a complaint to closure with all of the stakeholders involved.
With a background in mediation, adjudication and law, I have both a finely tuned sense of judgment and a calm presence. I navigate delicate office politics, the culture of your organization and complex legal issues. And my approach is flexible: I can simply report factual findings, or deliver a full analysis with recommended actions.
